Have you ever wanted to create your own popup shop or gallery? Now you can. This informative workshop will help you get the information and ideas you need to succeed in creating and delivering your own popup.
According to a report by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) for EE, the popup sector is worth £2.3bn to the UK economy. Many artists, community groups, new business start-ups, galleries, and arts and culture providers are now using these empty shops to house their products and ideas to help boost awareness and sales.
From planning to legal, from marketing to funding, this workshop will help you work through our useful popup toolkit in a workshop environment and share ideas and questions throughout the day.
WHAT YOU WILL GO AWAY WITH
You will go away with a clearer understanding of what is required to succeed at running your own popup plus a firm plan on what steps you need to take to make it work for you or your organisation. You’ll also learn some tips and tricks and get the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.
During the day you will go through each module of our Pop-up Toolkit and learn about:
Part 1 – Writing a Plan
Part 2 – Managing Risk
Part 3 – Planning a Budget
Part 4 – Understanding Business Rates
Part 5 – Finding Funding
