Many small businesses, social enterprises and charities naturally grow overtime, some have development plans and some have capital projects that they need to fund. But how do you find the correct financial model to attract investment or build your cash reserves?

In this 3 hour workshop social enterprise expert Jonny Gordon-Farleigh will open your eyes to a variety of methods that have worked for many other organisations. He will showcase some very interesting business models used by other enterprises, and provide an range of advice and tips on how you too can adopt new business models to help expand your organisation and find new business models to raise finance. You’ll get the opportunity to ask questions, discuss some of the practicalities and walk away with resources to help you find what works for you.

This workshop is designed for CEO’s, managers, business owners, board members, start-up’s and anyone who wants to adopt an enterprising approach to raising funds and attracting investment or community contributions.

Attendees will go away with a clearer understanding of what business models could work for their organisation and what steps you need to take. You’ll also learn some tips and tricks and get the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Jonny Gordon-Farleigh is a social enterprise and business development professional who has advised public and private organisations throughout the UK. He is director of Stir To Action, which runs workshops and short courses on the new economy, and editor of STIR magazine. He is a facilitator supporting businesses and start-ups, and a crowdfunding, project facilitation and legal registration expert. He speaks on the new economy and is a founding member of the Young Co-operators Network.

WHAT TO BRING

You may wish to bring a laptop or iPad to do some online research but not essential. Pen and paper is advised.

There is no fee for attendees but spaces are limited.
