What is it?

When a visitor walks through your door, rings your Box Office, or attends your event, it is the start of a relationship that can lead to future economic benefit – through more tickets bought, donations made, or recommendations made both on and offline.  This workshop ensures that your visitor experience starts this relationship off in the right way, a springboard for further development.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is only for staff from Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole based cultural organisations. As a busy arts organisation your most valuable resource is the first person that your visitor sees from front of house staff to volunteers. Any front facing member of your cultural organisation that has interaction with audience, customers or visitors will benefit from this morning’s workshop.

What you will go away with

Understanding the visitor journey – an overview of the basics of customer care, from a warm welcome to a fond farewell

Demonstrating how good customer care can help build long-term support from customers, who will want to come back, spend more and recommend you to others

Exploring how partnering with other organisations can enhance the visitor experience for the economic benefit of everyone.

About your tutor

Facilitator Caroline Cooper of Naturally Loyal is a professional trainer, an expert in building relationships and how looking after your customers makes for lifelong economic benefit.  If you are a theatre, museum, art gallery, restaurant or visitor centre, your biggest interaction is always with your customers, and so this workshop is for you.
