The Act for Change Together Festival takes place online from Monday 26 to Saturday 31 July. Over the course of 6 days, a large number of free events are taking place, available for everyone to take part who is interested in youth activism. A list of events and online booking are available at

The festival focuses on challenging ingrained narratives and stereotypes. During the sessions, speakers will share skills and knowledge, and advice on how to reach out and be better allies to young people and communities who need inclusion and connection.

Through a series of podcasts, workshops, panel discussions and videos, the youth activists and adult allies and partners from the 32 funded organisations will be sharing their stories, experiences, top tips, and things they’ve learned from their time delivering youth-led social action campaigns.

The wide selection of events ranges from sessions on how to get active and make change, and first hand cast studies on political youth work, to advice on how make your voice heard. Topics such as gender identity and institutionalised racism will also be addressed, amongst many others.

The festival is co-produced by a steering group of young activists drawn from some of 32 organisations funded by Act for Change Fund, with support from TADC through our Associate Molly Scarborough.
