Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper

We’re seeking a skilled and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. As our bookkeeper, you will manage the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation. This role is flexible, with the opportunity for freelancers to discuss an equivalent day rate.

Location: Dorchester or Hybrid

Salary: £29,000 per annum (pro-rata, 1 day a week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing bill payments and expenses

  • Overseeing payroll

  • Preparing Management Accounts

  • Invoicing tenants

  • Completing VAT returns

  • Budget setting in collaboration with the CEO

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge

  • Experience with payroll and VAT returns

  • Proficiency in accounting software

  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

  • Familiarity with Quickbooks
