Portland & Weymouth Town of Culture 2025 have some exciting updates surrounding their Launch Weekend, Launchpad Grants and a Mailing List you can join.

Launch Weekend
The official launch weekend is taking place on the 25 & 26 April so make sure to save these dates and look out for further information online closer to the time.
Launchpad Grants
The ‘Reveal’ Launchpad Grant provides an opportunity for Community, Voluntary, and Charitable organisations, as well as individuals to apply for up to £1500 in funding to support of Cultural activities to be delivered as part of the Portland and Weymouth Towns of Culture.
Deadline: 23rd March 2025
To be eligible for funding, applicants must:
Be a community, voluntary, charitable organisation or individual working for the benefit of the residents of Portland and Weymouth.
Have an appropriate safeguarding policy if working with children and young people or vulnerable adults (if selected you will need to send a copy of this).
Have a bank or building society current account in the name of an organisation.
Grants will only be made for the benefit of the community covered by Portland and Weymouth in support of the Towns of Culture and up to the value of £1,500

If you have cultural events, workshops or exhibitions taking place on Portland or in Weymouth between Jan - Dec 2025 and would like to be part of the TOC25 programme please sign up here.
